Rendering Painting
Sand and cement render, pebbledash, painted brick and Victorian stucco all take masonry paint well, once the cracks are stopped and the surface is clean. We do the boring part properly, then two full coats.

Spray Painting
Airless and HVLP spraying lays down a thin, even film with no brush marks and no roller texture. It is the right tool for kitchen cabinets, panelled doors, radiators, furniture, shopfronts and big plain walls.

Wood Staining
Floorboards, doors, staircases, skirting, sash windows, fences and decking. A stain colours the wood and lets the grain show; a treatment protects it. We do both, and match colours on an offcut before touching the real thing.

Plastering
Skim coats over sound plaster and Artex, plasterboard where the old lath and lime has gone, patch repairs around new sockets and pipework, and full re-plastering of rooms. Then we paint it once it has dried.

Varnishing
A clear finish is what stands between bare timber and daily life. We sand, stain where the colour is wanted, and build up two or three coats of the right varnish, lacquer or oil for the way the surface is used.

Single rooms to whole houses. Ceilings, walls and woodwork prepared, primed and painted in two full coats, with clean cut lines at the ceiling and the skirting and no roller marks under the window.

Preparation is where the time goes and where the finish is decided. It is itemised on every quote, for every service.
Quote from your sizes and photos
Room sizes, what the surfaces are like now, what you want. A written price that itemises preparation, coats and products.
Protect and prepare
Floors and furniture sheeted, then filling, sanding, sealing and priming. Usually a third to a half of the time on site.
Paint in the right order
Ceilings, walls, then woodwork. Two full coats, cut in by brush, rolled towards the light.
Snag in daylight and hand back
A walk round with you, touch-ups done there and then, masking off, room left clean.
